  New location is a vast improvement over the old one and the store seems to be well kept, good availability and good location. Customer service still leaves something to be desired, waited over 2.5 hours for a battery to be tested at the parts Dept. A lot of product locked away and staff nowhere to be found. Still a better store that others in the city.

  If you know what you want and it's not locked up, you'll be in and out quickly. If you need staff assistance, best to have a lot of a patience. I've never seen a store with so many items locked up. Art museums are more accessable. Perhaps if the sales area was staffed sufficiently, theft would be less of an issue and people would purchase items rather than wistfully staring at $19.99 items behind bars. The store itself is large, clean and, surprisingly, regularly has a decent number of cashiers - no self check-out though. It's too bad that the American chain competitors are so vastly superior in service and return policy. Canadian Tire could be a great Canadian example of retail.
