  I like coming to our neighbourhood coffee shop and for the most part I’m satisfied with the service and the place itself. One thing that’s been on my mind is the amount of waste coffee shops in general generate and how effective they are in actually recycling some of it (just take a look inside the recycling containers). I alone have a limited influence on decisions others make but I chose to take my drinks in ‘to stay’ cups only and it bothers me when the staff in the time it takes to pull a tea bag out of its packaging forget to fulfill my order and serve me my tea in a paper cup.
