  Not sure why all the angry reviews. I've always had excellent service from the Apple store in Chinook. Maybe people don't like having to make an appointment with the Genius Bar? I kinda like that idea, it ensures that I get the attention I feel I deserve as an Apple consumer when I have an issue. Yes, sometimes they are running a bit behind, but that's to be expected given how busy the location is. I have seen countless customers in the store angry that Apple won't replace their iPhone that has physical damage. i for one had an extremely positive experience with this store. My wife had dropped her iPhone in water by accident. Unfortunately the phone stopped working as a result. I made an appointment with the store and went in there fully expecting to have to pay for a replacement as liquid damage is not covered. The person who had the appointment before mine had a similar issue and was being extremely rude and disrespectful to the staff. demanding a new phone and stating it wasn't his fault it got wet..blah blah blah. When my turn came I told the Genius that I wasn't going to be like his last client. I told him the truth right from the start, about the phone being dropped in water, it was our fault, we understood its not covered, and were happy to pay for a replacement, etc. The Genius told me he was so pleased to hear someone be truthful and honest and not give him some long winded story about how its not their fault, etc that he agreed to give me a free replacement just for being polite and honest right from the start. 15 minutes later i was walking out the store with a brand new iPhone. Did Apple have to do it? no. Did it cost them money to do it? yes. Did they make themselves a customer for life with their service? Absolutely. Its service like this that sets them apart from the competition. Yes, you pay more for Apple products, but the quality and service from them justifies the cost. At least for me it does anyways.
