  Very sad to say after 3 generations of using Cdn tire for vehicle repairs, but I will never take a vehicle there for repairs again.... Ever. In my opinion they are dishonest and will charge you for stuff that does not need doing. I was recently charged $750.00 to diagnose and replace a $60.00 water pump A week later I developed a sever oil leak, and I'm told "they had never seen it before", and that $1,200 would fix it. I accuse them of screwing with my vehicle, and attempting to rip me off. Probably not the store's fault, but likely the incompetent techs, high on commission in the auto department. Like I said, It's sad that such an institution has such a bad reputation, and sadder that all they do about it is delete honest reviews. I do miss the days of the honest corner garage... Ding Ding DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE FOR REPAIR - you will be gouged. Note for "Customer Loyalty" team tasked with deleting negative reviews here - pull your head out of your a$$ , and start a resolution response to these reviews like professional organizations do. - Have you seen how your competition deals with complaints online ?

  I went in for car repairs as it was a Sunday and needed them done asap, waited two days and paid $1000 for repairs and when I picked up my vehicle they had not told me they had used all the gas in the vehicle. I had the gauge running wild and my lights come up as I was not even halfway home about two minutes after picking up my vehicle and barely made it to a gas station. I believe it is completely unacceptable to have this happen to someone after paying such a large amount and as well as how someone is able to let someone go without gas wishing them the best is just complete ignorance. I as well asked to replace my front light as I was paying for everything anyways in which they did not do. I would stay clear, as there are many mechanics out there who would like to help and make sure their customers make it home and then there’s Canadian Tire.

  This is my favorite Canadian Tire. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable depending on who you ask. I worked here 16 years ago and still see some of the same staff, so they must enjoy working there like I did. From the seasonal section, to hardware, I am always buying things here and Happy with them. One very impressive thing I've seen here lately is the Garden Center in the summer, very nice plants and the managers are knowledgeable and helpful. Also the Store Manager Steve has been working there forever and you can tell he loves his store and it shows.
